The "Stay Open" campaign not only included cultural twists on Canadian Classic Caesar's - but debuting during the first Hockey Night in Canada broadcast of the season, was the launch of the brands full hero ad. This spot told the stories of everyday people, from everyday life and how Canada has been a pillar in it all.
Naturally people turn to social media during high peak sporting events, which is why Smirnoff Canada's social channels were primed - hosting cut downs of each persons story from that broadcast spot - reinforcing the beauty of Canadian diversity by welcoming a safe space for dialogue, and raising a glass to the locals.
